Didi Benami finished as a top ten finalist on the ninth season (Simon Cowell’s final season) of American Idol. While on Idol she worked with legendary Recording Academy Musical Director Rickey Minor, performing in front of a national audience multiple times a week. She also made appearances on The Late Show with David Letterman, The Today Show, The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Access Hollywood, and Extra. She has performed with artists such as Christina Aguilera, Janet Jackson, Alice Cooper, Kelly Clarkson, Carrie Underwood, Rita Wilson, Brandon Jenner, and Keaton Simons, as well as sung for the L.A. Dodgers, L.A. Kings, LA Clippers, WNBA opening night, Orlando Magic, Cleveland Cavaliers, and many more. She learned to refine her craft as a vocalist and performer doing live shows in the Los Angeles circuit, as well as trained with coaches Roger Love, Debra Byrd, Dorian Holley, Michael Orland, Kira Fontana, Lis Lewis, and American Idol tour Vocal Coach Ron Anderson with whom she spent over twelve years studying his Voixtek method before he passed away in December 2022. Didi provides performance coaching, tour coaching, in-studio coaching, production coaching, and audition preparation. She specializes in and has helped numerous students with reality show preparation auditions. Didi is passionate about making a difference in her students’ lives and seeing results in their voices.
