Emily Otteson

Vocal Coach

About

Emily Otteson has been singing for as long as she can remember—starting in church, moving on to classical training at 12, and later lighting up the stage in high school musicals. By 20, she was touring as a songwriter, eventually making Nashville her home in 2015. Since then, she’s been mentored by Reba McEntire, performed on the Grand Ole Opry stage, and built a career touring, singing in Broadway’s honky-tonks and bluegrass venues, and coaching others to find their own voice. With a diverse career spanning multiple genres, Emily has worked with artists like Jars of Clay, Rachel Platten, Jimmie Allen, James Riley, Darryl Perry, East Nash Grass, and Leigh Nash. She believes great singing is more than just hitting the right notes—it’s about heart, storytelling, and embracing the unique tone of each voice. Whether you’re just beginning your journey or refining your artistry, Emily is here to help you develop your technique and step into your full vocal potential.
