Kyle Barboza

Vocal Coach

About

As a vocalist, bassist, and songwriter, Kyle Barboza has two decades of professional performing and recording experience. He has shared the stage with artists like Colin Hay, The Wooten Brothers, Darius Rucker, and Dashboard Confessional to name a few. After getting his Masters in Music Education from the University of Rhode Island, he moved to Nashville in 2014 with the rock/pop group Charge The Atlantic as their frontman and bassist. Over 11 years in the Music City, Kyle penned hundreds of songs, performed on dozens of records, and toured the country as a sideman and original artist. However, he’s most proud of his Nashville “day job,” serving 10 years as a middle and high school Band Director. Recently, Kyle returned home to Rhode Island with his wife and baby daughter to pursue his passion of teaching voice and bass to students one on one. As a voice coach, Kyle’s goal is to help people become the vocalist that they dream of being, and find their joy in performing music.
